Varun Dhawan‘s upcoming film, Baby John, has encountered a delay in its release date and is now being rescheduled.
The actor recently announced on his social media that the new premiere date of the film will coincide with the speculated release date of Aamir Khan’s much-anticipated comeback film, Sitaare Zameen Par, expected to hit screens around Christmas this year.

Varun Dhawan took to social media and enthusiastically posted, “Christmas this year just got merrier. Get ready for Baby John releasing on December 25th,” along with a new poster from the film.
The decision to push back the release date stems from the film’s heavy reliance on visual effects and action sequences. The production team needs more time to ensure that every minute detail is perfected. They want to make sure that Baby John lives up to the heightened expectations of audiences. A Christmas release date positions the film perfectly as an out-and-out mass entertainer.

Baby John marks the Hindi film debut for Keerthy Suresh, while Wamiqa Gabbi makes her silver screen debut with the film. Adding to the ensemble are Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav, both portraying exciting roles in the action-packed entertainer. Music is composed by S Thaman.
Produced by Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande, Baby John is presented by Jio Studios in association with Atlee and Cine1 Studios. Directed by Kalees, the film is slated for a theatrical release on December 25, 2024.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par is also generating buzz for its anticipated Christmas release. Aamir, known for his professionalism, has allocated 70 to 80 working days for the film.
The extensive pre-production work on this film will make it one of Aamir’s quickest deliveries ever. Genelia Deshmukh is playing the lead alongside Aamir Khan for the first time in this project.
