Katrina Kaif is without a doubt the most popular female actress among those who have made their debut in Hindi cinema this millennium, with a fan base that stretches beyond India. Weddings in India aren’t complete without Katrina Kaif songs, and the actress is due to marry Vicky Kaushal this week in a small ceremony in Rajasthan surrounded by family and friends.
Their wedding has been talked about for the past two months, and the big day is fast approaching. Throughout this time, the pair has maintained a high level of secrecy surrounding their wedding festivities. An OTT behemoth has offered Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal a bomb in exchange for exclusive wedding footage for streaming purposes.
“It’s a common trend in the west for celebrities to sell off their wedding footage and images to magazines and at times even channels, as there are a lot of fans who wish to witness all that happened in the life changing event of their idol. The streaming giant is planning to bring in the same trend in India too and to kick off their wedding franchise, they have offered Rs 100 crore to Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal,” revealed a source close to the development to Pinkvilla.
If the couple agrees, all of the functions of the star-studded wedding will be shot and edited by the streaming giant and presented as a full film on their platform, according to the source. Live moments will be captured, as well as unique interviews with the family, guests, make-up artists, stylists, and anybody else who was present at the event. “It’s upto Katrina and Vicky to decide on the future course of action. There is a possibility of them letting go of the offer and there is also a possibility of them collaborating with this giant as they want their fans to witness all that happened in the palace,” the source added.
