While photos from Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s wedding and pre-wedding ceremonies have kept fans entertained, it’s time to return to reality. Vicky Kaushal uploaded a sunkissed photo of himself wearing a black sweatshirt, a cap, and a pair of shades on his way to work today. He noted in the post that he needs his coffee before shooting.

Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw will be played by Vicky Kaushal in Sam Bahadur. He served in five conflicts during the course of his four-decade career. Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh have recently joined Sam Bahadur’s cast. Sanya will portray Vicky’s wife, Silloo Manekshaw, while Fatima will portray Indira Gandhi, India’s first female Prime Minister.
Welcoming the actresses to Sam Bahadur cast, Vicky earlier wrote on Instagram, “It’s a very special day for us as we celebrate our director @meghnagulzar’s birthday and welcome the leading ladies @sanyamalhotra_ as Silloo Manekshaw & @fatimasanashaikh as Smt. Indira Gandhi to the #SamBahadur family (sic)!”

Sam Manekshaw served in the military for four decades and five conflicts. He was the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to Field Marshal, and his military success in the 1971 Indo-Pak war resulted in the establishment of Bangladesh. Ronnie Screwvala produces Sam Bahadur.
