Bollywood’s espionage blockbuster Dhurandhar is not just dominating the box office but also generating waves within the film fraternity, as actor Vicky Kaushal, who had worked with Dhar in Uri, has now added his voice to the chorus of industry praise. On Friday, Kaushal took to his Instagram Stories to laud the Ranveer Singh-led drama, calling it “technically brilliant” and “supremely engaging,” underscoring the film’s craftsmanship and immersive world-building.
Kaushal’s glowing review highlights his admiration for Dhurandhar’s director Aditya Dhar, with whom he previously collaborated on the 2019 military drama Uri: The Surgical Strike. Kaushal wrote, “@adityadharfilms you beauty What a mammoth task it must be for you and your team to pull off this film with such conviction, finesse and first-rate world-building… Hats off.” He also praised the ensemble cast’s efforts and congratulated “all the Dhurandhars involved” for delivering a powerful cinematic experience.

Dhurandhar, which hit theatres on December 5, 2025, has been celebrated for its ambitious scale, compelling narrative and strong performances from its cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal. The film, inspired by real-life espionage operations and geopolitical tensions, has emerged as one of the year’s highest-grossing Hindi films and is the first part of a two-part saga, with Dhurandhar: Part 2 – Revenge set to release on March 19, 2026.
Celebrated Peers Share Admiration For Dhurandhar
Kaushal’s endorsement comes amid a wider wave of acclaim from Bollywood heavyweights. Hrithik Roshan also took to social media to share his detailed reaction to the film, expressing deep appreciation for its storytelling and craft. On his Instagram Stories, Roshan wrote, “I love cinema, I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control… Dhurandhar is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It’s cinema.” While he admitted personal disagreement with some of the film’s political themes, Roshan emphasized that he “loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema” and called it “Amazing.”
