Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur released on 1st December in cinemas. Sam Bahadur is directed by Meghna Gulzar and written by Meghna and Bhavani Iyer. The film is based on India’s first field marshal Sam Manekshaw who played a key role during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war and the liberation of Bangladesh.
Film clashed with Animal and that limited its screening as well as audience. Still film managed to fight it out at box office and good jumps over the weekend ensured a decent weekend. Film is also steady on weekdays at box office.
Authentic Depiction Of Sam Manekshaw In His Biopic
Meghna Gulzar is known for making real and authentic films. Her latest release Sam Bahadur is winning accolades from audience. There is buzz of national awards for Vicky Kaushal for stellar performance and Meghna for excellent direction.
Today makers shared a video showcasing about original car of Sam Manekshaw. This car was used by India’s decorated brave soldier 5 decades back. The same car and driver were used while filming of Sam Bahadur. Vicky Kaushal can be seen elated with joy and pride while taking about the same.
