The duo (who once made headlines for their relationship) were seen smiling and hugging on stage. They then chatted with Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan before posing for pictures together. Fans, of course, couldn’t keep calm.
Social media was flooded with reactions. One fan wrote, “Jab We Met 2 ka intezar khatam.” Another added, “Ufffff the chemistry.” A third simply commented, “Jab We Met again.” Many even called them by their iconic on-screen names Geet and Aditya.

Shahid and Kareena’s history goes way back. They dated in the early 2000s before breaking up in 2007. While they worked together in Udta Punjab (2016), they never shared screen space in the film. But for Bollywood lovers, nothing compares to the magic of Jab We Met (2007). The film remains a cult classic, and fans still associate them with their unforgettable roles.
Now, the hug has reignited hopes for Jab We Met 2. While there’s no official confirmation, the internet has already made up its mind for Geet and Aditya’s comeback!
Both actors have moved on in their personal lives. Kareena married Saif Ali Khan in 2012 and is now a mother of two. Shahid tied the knot with Mira Rajput in 2015, and they also have two kids.
