Since the theatres were shut down due to coronavirus and lockdown many big films opted for OTT platforms to release the films.
However, from the last couple of months things are getting back on track and filmmakers are again moving to theatres. However, many filmmakers are still opting for the digital premiere. According to the reports Vidya Balan’s much-awaited Sherni will also release on OTT.
The film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. It explores the human-wildlife conflict.
It is said that the Abundantia Entertainment and T-Series production have sold the international streaming giant at a price similar to that of Shakuntala Devi: Human Computer, also starring Vidya.
