Viineet Kumar Siingh Joins Akshay Kumar’s Samuk In Pivotal Role As London Shoot Powers Ahead

Akshay Kumar’s ambitious sci-fi actioner Samuk is adding more muscle to its cast. Box Office Worldwide has exclusively learned that Viineet Kumar Siingh has come on board Kanishk Varma’s film in a pivotal role, joining Kumar in what is shaping up to be one of the more closely watched Hindi genre projects currently on floors.

The latest casting move fits neatly into the film’s larger promise. Samuk is being mounted as an alien survival-action thriller and is currently being shot in London, with a major chunk of the production planned in the UK. The film is backed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, with Aashin A. Shah serving as co-producer, and is targeting a 2027 theatrical release.

Viineet Kumar Siingh Boards Samuk

Siingh’s addition gives Samuk a performer with a proven screen intensity, especially in physically demanding roles. He broke through widely with Mukkabaaz and has since built a body of work that moves comfortably between hard-edged drama, mainstream spectacles and action-driven parts.

The new development also suggests that Samuk is leaning into a cast built around distinct performer identities rather than safe, familiar combinations. Siingh’s presence alongside Akshay Kumar points to a dynamic that could add grit to the film’s survival thriller setup, particularly if the narrative is built around a high-stakes mission.

What We Know About Samuk So Far

Directed by Kanishk Varma, Samuk marks Akshay Kumar’s reunion with Vipul Amrutlal Shah after their earlier collaborations on films such as Aankhen, Waqt: The Race Against Time, Namastey London and Action Replayy. Industry updates around the project have also confirmed that the film had been in development for over two years before going on floors.

The project has been positioned as a large-scale theatrical spectacle that blends science fiction, survival and horror elements. The makers have kept plot specifics tightly guarded, but the combination of Akshay Kumar, an alien thriller premise and an international shoot has already helped Samuk stand apart in the current Hindi film landscape.

Viineet Kumar Siingh’s Recent And Upcoming Work

For Siingh, the casting comes at a particularly interesting phase. In 2025, he featured in Chhaava and Jaat, two high-profile theatrical releases that widened his visibility with mainstream audiences. He was also seen in Superboys of Malegaon in 2025, further underlining the range that has defined his career choices in recent years.

In 2026, he appeared in Hello Bachhon, which released on Netflix. With Samuk now joining his slate, Siingh continues to balance character-driven parts with bigger commercial titles. That mix has steadily turned him into one of the more dependable actors for filmmakers looking to add credibility and force to ensemble storytelling.
