Actor Vijay Deverakonda celebrated a significant milestone for his film Dear Comrade by sharing a throwback photo with his co-star and rumoured girlfriend, Rashmika Mandanna, from the movie’s sets on Saturday morning.
Despite Dear Comrade not performing well at the box office, the film achieved over 400 million views on YouTube. On Friday, Vijay expressed his emotions by posting another still from the movie, featuring himself with Rashmika by a river.

The picture, shared on Instagram stories, featured a still from one of his favourite songs from the film. Vijay captioned the photo, “Because DC hit 400 Mil. Resharing my favourite song of my career so far. #Kadalalle.”
He wrote, “400 million of you saw it. Dear Comrade – from the sadness we felt on the day of release in 2019 to the immense love we have for the film till today. Dear Comrade is a film I loved making, a story I loved telling.” Rashmika re-shared the post on her Instagram story, adding, “400Mill love, Dear Comrade was and will always be super special to me.”
Rashmika Mandanna quickly reshared Vijay’s story and wrote, “400 mil love. Dear Comrade was and will always be super special to me!!”
Dear Comrade narrates an intense and powerful story between Rashmika, a cricketer, and Vijay, a student leader with anger management issues. The movie, directed by Bharat Kamma and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, will complete 5 years on July 26.

Meanwhile, Vijay is gearing up for his upcoming film SVC59, produced by Dil Raju, after Family Star. Additionally, he is set to collaborate once again with director Rahul Sankrityan for his 14th movie, following their successful partnership on Taxiwaala. The actor announced his 13th film earlier this year with director Ravi Kiran Kola.
Vijay revealed the news of VD14 on his birthday, May 9, sharing a fresh movie poster on his social media account. The film is described as a period-action drama set in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, with Mythri Movie Makers as the production house.
On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna is gearing up to start shooting for the much-anticipated action thriller Sikandar, alongside Salman Khan. She will also be seen in Pushpa 2 The Rule, featuring Allu Arjun and Fahad Faasil in prominent roles. Additionally, Rashmika is currently busy shooting for Kubera, which stars Dhanush, Nagarjuna, and Jim Sarbh.
