Following the success of his recently released eerie adventure, Bhoot Police, Saif Ali Khan discussed his forthcoming projects and the concept of becoming more commercial in his approach in a recent interview. The actor is presently prepping for his role in the Vikram Vedha adaptation, which will pit him against Hrithik Roshan in a battle royale.
In this Pushkar and Gayatri directed film, Saif will portray a tough cop, while Hrithik will play a ruthless thug. Saif, interestingly, also played a cop in the digital series Sacred Games. The actor described the difference in his approach to the two personas when asked about it. He told Pinkvilla, “I would say, Sartaj Singh was kind of a victim, who would be slapped around by almost everybody. His rise was from a slightly suicidal space to something else. He was a troubled and honest guy.”
He added, “Vikram on the other hand is a very tough, successful and intelligent IPS kind of a officer. He is much more dynamic, confident and strong. Also, Vikram does not have a turban.”
Hrithik Roshan will star in the Reliance and T Series production, which will begin filming in the UAE next month. In this marathon schedule, Saif is slated to join the team in the month of November.
