Vikram Vedha: Shooting for Hrithik Roshan & Saif Ali Khan starrer upcoming blockbuster has been wrapped

Today, June 10, the shoot for Vikram Vedha, one of the most anticipated films of the year, was completed. The main leads, Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan are ecstatic as the action thriller approaches its release date. Pushkar and Gayatri direct Vikram Vedha, which also stars Radhika Apte. On September 30, 2022, the film will be released.

Talking about his role, the Krrish actor said that playing Vedha was nothing like anything he has done before. “Becoming Vedha was unlike anything I’ve ever done before. I had to break the mould of being the ‘hero’ and step into completely unexplored territory as an actor,” said Hrithik.

“The journey felt like I was graduating. My relentless directors Pushkar and Gayatri kept me on a treadmill, silently motivating me to push boundaries. Working alongside Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf and Yogita Bihani further gave me an impetus as a performer. Looking back.. I became the Vedha that I did, because of the powerful presence of Saif Ali Khan as Vikram. He is phenomenal in every way possible,” added the actor.

“As we called it a wrap on set, my mind is flooded with all the happy memories, testing times, action, thrill and hard work we all have put into #VikramVedha. Doing a little excited-nervous dance in my head today.. as we inch closer to our release date. See you at the cinemas (sic),” tweeted the actor.

Saif Ali Khan lauded directors Pushkar and Gayatri for their dynamic supervision in Vikram Vedha. “Pushkar and Gayatri are quite the dynamic duo with great creative energy and it’s been very rewarding working with them. A complete icing on the cake and elevating experience for me was working with Hrithik and doing some intense action scenes,” said Saif.

The old folktale Baital Pachisi inspired the story of Vikram Vedha. Vikram, a police inspector, sets out on a quest to assassinate the mobster Vedha. He confesses to the cop and tells him anecdotes that shift his perspective on good and evil.
