Director Vishal Mishra is known for making movies on out-of-the-box topics. Now the director is all set to bring his two new and unique projects which are produced by Vivek Oberoi’s Oberoi Mega Entertainment Iti and Rosie: TheSaffron Chapter.
Recently Vishal was in a candid chat with a leading daily, talking about the films he said that he always wanted to make comedy films. He said after Coffee With D, he made Marudhar Express and Hotel Milan both films were inspired by his hometown Kanpur. Now he is all set for Iti and Rosie.
Talking about his relationship with Vivek he said, “Vivek is like an elder brother to me. He was the only person I knew when I came to Mumbai. I shared a spiritual connection with him and his father Suresh Ji. But now it was through Prerana that I got a chance to work with him on a film. I have immense respect for Prerana as well she has truly made a mark in the industry and achieved a status, not many female producers in the industry can brag about.”
“I am glad that these two films are happening with the two people I really admire”, he added.
The ace director Vishal Mishra shared that he was working on Iti for over two years with Aabhar Dadhich (his co-writer). The film is a never seen before thriller and it will be an edge of the seat experience.
About Rosie, the director tells us, “We are attempting to reinvent the horror genre in Indian Cinema that can truly spook you without being Unbelievably over-the-top. Being a horror fan myself I want Rosie to give out the spine chilling feeling along with keeping the audience entertained and guessing till the very end”.
Since Vishal himself was a film critic earlier, he knows the right nerve of the audience and he is ready with it.
