Vivek Agnihotri is one of the most talked about filmmakers in Bollywood. His films spark debate and generate all kinds of strong reactions. While some believe that he is telling stories that are worth telling, the others believe that he only makes propaganda films. Irrespective of people’s opinions, his last film The Kashmir Files was a major commercial success.
Today, the filmmaker took to social media to announce his non-fiction documentary film titled The Kashmir Files Unreported. Vivek shared a teaser video of the docu which showed glimpses of The Kashmir Files. Towards the end, we see several crying faces of people (mostly Kashmiri pandits) who had to leave their home during the 1990 exodus.

Vivek captioned the teaser video, “A lot of Genocide Deniers, terror supporters & enemies of Bharat questioned The Kashmir Files. Now bringing to you the VULGAR truth of Kashmir Genocide of Hindus which only a devil can question.” The Kashmir Files Unreported will be releasing on Zee5 soon.
About The Kashmir Files
Released in 2022, The Kashmir Files is a drama that chronicles the exodus of Kashmiri pandits from Kashmir in 1990. It stars Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, and Pallavi Joshi. Upon release, the film met with polarizing critical response but it was declared tax-free in several states. It ended up grossing 340.92 crore at the box-office, becoming the third highest grossing Hindi film of 2022.

Vivek Is Gearing Up For The Vaccine War
The Vaccine War is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and stars Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, Raima Sen, and Sapthami Gowda. It chronicles the story of how Indian vaccines, Covaxin and Covisheild were made during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to media reports, the film is expected to release in the theatres on 28 September this year. Prashanth Neel’s upcoming action thriller Salaar, starring Prabhas is also going to release on the same date. So Vivek’s film will have a stiff competition on the ticket window, especially in the south region.
