Wamiqa Gabbi’s February 26, 2026 has turned into a neat two headline day for the actor, with one set update and one big music drop keeping her firmly in the middle of the conversation. Within hours of Bhooth Bangla unveiling its first song featuring Akshay Kumar, Gabbi confirmed she has wrapped the Lucknow schedule of her Dharma-backed film Kuku Ki Kundali, where she has been shooting opposite Bhuvan Bam.
The update comes after several on-location videos of Gabbi and Bam from Lucknow went viral in recent days, giving fans their first glimpse of the fresh pairing and the film’s tone.
The Latest Update: Wamiqa Gabbi Confirms Kuku Ki Kundali’s Lucknow Schedule Wrap
Gabbi shared the wrap confirmation via Instagram Stories from the sets in Lucknow. In one story, she asked followers to guess the project, and in another she joined the trending “Hamla achanak se kiya tha” format, signalling the end of this leg of filming. The Lucknow schedule had the team shooting in public spaces, including an auto-rickshaw sequence that quickly leaked online and circulated widely.
Kuku Ki Kundali is positioned as a ghost-comedy and also stars Manoj Pahwa in a pivotal role. The film marks Bhuvan Bam’s big-screen debut in a lead role. The release date has not been announced yet.
Bhooth Bangla Opens Its Music Chapter With Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge
On the same day, Bhooth Bangla released its first song, Ram Ji Aake Bhala Karenge, featuring Akshay Kumar. The film reunites Kumar with director Priyadarshan, bringing back a familiar comic-horror flavour that has already sparked nostalgia among fans of their earlier collaborations.
Bhooth Bangla is a Hindi comedy horror film starring Akshay Kumar, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, Mithila Palkar, and Asrani, among others. It is slated for a theatrical release on April 10, 2026. The film is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films, and is produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor.

Over the past few years, Gabbi has steadily built an enviable mix of OTT acclaim and mainstream visibility. She featured prominently in the period series Jubilee (2023) and Vishal Bhardwaj’s spy thriller Khufiya (2023), both of which expanded her reach with performance-driven roles. In 2024, she appeared in the Hindi film Baby John (2024). In 2025, Gabbi headlined the romantic comedy Bhool Chuk Maaf opposite Rajkummar Rao, which later began streaming on Prime Video.
