War 2 has created a never-ending excitement much before its release. This highly-anticipated sequel is part of the YRF Spy Universe and brings together two of Bollywood’s biggest stars – Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. Their collaboration has been the talk of the town ever since the film started shooting in February 2024.
War 2 To Be One Of The Biggest Action Films In Indian Cinema
Sources say that War 2 has been designed as one of the biggest action spectacles in Indian cinema. Director Ayan Mukerji and producer Aditya Chopra aim to redefine action on screen.
“While the plot keeps the essence of War intact, the sequel is a lot more intense, with raw action. The audience will be hooked on the screen right from Hrithik Roshan’s introduction with the sword fight sequence in the beginning,” a source told Pinkvilla.
Hrithik Roshan & Jr NTR Prepare For Intense Climax Shoot In November
As the majority of the film has already been shot, both Hrithik and Jr NTR are currently in preparation mode for the climax. The grand finale will be filmed over 20 days starting in November 2024.
“The pre-production is on at YRF to design the biggest climax block of all time featuring two of the biggest superstars – Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. While a part of the climax will be shot in Mumbai, a part of it shifts to another undisclosed location
Hrithik has been taking his training seriously. He is following a strict health regimen to ensure he is agile and powerful for the action sequences.
“He is putting in all the efforts to look the part in the climax—from strength training to speed-based training, along with plyometric work,” the insider added.
The training sessions are tailored to meet the demands of the intense action he will showcase.
War 2 Team Recently Wrapped Up Its Italy Schedule
Recently, the internet was flooded with several images and videos amid Hrithik and Kiara Advani shooting in Italy. It turns out that they also filmed action sequences during that trip.
“It was a 12-hour day shift for the cast in unexplored parts of Italy,” shared the source. Ayan and Adi are determined to elevate the film’s scale while maintaining a strong storyline.
War 2 will be Hrithik Roshan’s return as Kabir after the success of the first film in 2019. In the original, he faced off against Tiger Shroff, but this time, he will engage in a battle royale with Jr NTR.
The film is set to release during the Independence Day weekend in 2025, and it’s expected to be a box-office smash.
