Earlier in the week, it was revealed that the first song from War 2 – the highly anticipated sequel in YRF’s Spy Universe—is set to release on July 31, coinciding with Kiara Advani’s birthday. The romantic track featuring Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani is a flashback number titled as Aavan Jaavan, offering audiences a deeper understanding of Kabir and Kavya’s emotional past.
Finally, Aavan Jaavan, the first song from War 2, is out. Featuring Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani, the song promises a visual spectacle, sizzling chemistry, and it is also setting the perfect tone for a blockbuster musical hit.
The soft beats and sparkling romance between the lead pair have already created a buzz across the internet. This marks Shershaah actress’s first movie after welcoming her baby girl with Sidharth Malhotra. War 2’s Aavan Jaavan song release also coincides with her 34th birthday.
Dropping a hint about Kabir’s track from the film, Hrithik wrote while sharing the song – “Once upon a time, Kabir had hope, joy and love. #AaavanJaavan out now.”

Moments from the song shoot in Rome and Tuscany had earlier leaked online and had generated excitement from fans and audiences alike. While the trailer offered a glimpse of their chemistry, the first song from War 2 will give more insights into the love story of Kabir and Kavya. The assets have also earned shout-outs from Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and others. For the unversed, War 2 will mark Kiara’s first release after her pregnancy. Kiara gave birth to a baby girl on July 15 this year.
The teaser and trailer of War 2, as well as the end-credit scene of Tiger 3, hinted that Kabir would go rogue, with the stakes being higher than ever this time. Co-starring NTR Jr, War 2 is directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra and is set for a worldwide release in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil across theatres and Imax screens.
About War 2
Jr NTR plays the antagonist in the movie. War 2 is a sequel to the 2019 action drama, which starred Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor. It’s touted to be one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of that year.
The screenplay of War 2 is penned by Sriram Raghavan. Aditya Chopra has written the story while Abbas Tyrewala has penned the dialogues. To be released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, War 2, produced by Yash Raj Films,will be available on IMAX screens as well.
War 2 is set to clash at the box office with Coolie, starring Rajinikanth. The Lokesh Kanagaraj-directorial has an ensemble cast, including Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj and Shruti Haasan. War 2 is produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films.
