The excitement for the much-awaited Cocktail 2 has just received a major boost. A leaked video from the film’s international shooting schedule in Sicily is making the rounds online, giving fans a sneak peek of the new cast in action.
The footage clearly shows the film’s lead stars, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, together on set. This is the first time the trio has been spotted filming together, and the visuals have already created a huge buzz on social media.
A Glimpse Of The Trio In Sicily
In the leaked video, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon can be seen strolling through the beautiful streets of Sicily, with Rashmika Mandanna also present during the shoot. The clip confirms that the cast is currently filming in Italy, which was reported earlier.
The stunning seaside location and the stylish look of the actors suggest that the makers are aiming for a visually grand film. This first glimpse of the three stars sharing the screen has left fans excited to see their chemistry.
A Grand Song And Beach Sequences
According to reports, the team is in Italy to film a lavish song sequence. An insider revealed that the goal is to create a visually stunning number with “grand choreography” that can match the freshness and vibe of the music from the original Cocktail.
Director Homi Adajania, who also directed the first film, has dedicated a whole month to the Sicily schedule. Sources from the production added that key moments of the film are set on Sicily’s beaches, as the director wants to capture the “warmth of the setting” to enhance the mood of these scenes.
What’s Next For ‘Cocktail 2’?
The team is expected to wrap up its month-long Italy schedule soon and will likely return to Mumbai next month. The second leg of filming is scheduled to begin after the Diwali festival later this year.
While fans are eagerly waiting for more updates, the film is currently slated for a 2026 release. With Homi Adajania back in the director’s chair and a fresh, talented cast, the expectations for Cocktail 2 are higher than ever.
