Ahmed Khan‘s upcoming comedy film, Welcome to the Jungle, is turning into a star-studded affair in Mumbai. With three film schedules already completed, the ensemble cast is now preparing for a spectacular dance number. The track, set to feature Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, and more, will also include a whopping 200 background dancers.
Preparations for the grand dance sequence are in full swing, as revealed by a recent report from Mid-Day. Over the next few days, more than 10 actors from the film will unite to film the elaborate dance routine. Planned by filmmaker Ahmed Khan, it is set to be shot on an epic scale.

“While the background dancers have started rehearsals since last week, the actors have been diligently practising their dance steps with the choreographer and his team,” shared a source close to the production. “The aim is to ensure everyone is well-prepared before they step in front of the cameras at Royal Palms in Goregaon this Saturday.”
The insider further disclosed that Ahmed Khan has assembled a massive crew of 500 members to work on the song for seven days. During this time, the actors will shoot both their individual and group sequences. If all goes according to plan, the Mumbai schedule is expected to conclude by the end of May.
Akshay Kumar Announced This Film Last Year on His Birthday
Last year, on his 56th birthday, Akshay Kumar surprised fans by announcing Welcome 3, also known as Welcome to the Jungle. He took to Instagram to share the news through a video, expressing, “Today, I’ve given myself and all of you a birthday gift. If you like it and say thanks, I’d say Welcome(3) 😬 #WelcomeToTheJungle In cinemas, Christmas – 20th December 2024. #Welcome3”
For the unversed, Akshay was recently shooting for his cameo appearance in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and is now set to shoot Jolly LLB 3 with Arshad Warsi.

The star-studded cast of Welcome to the Jungle includes Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Sharib Hashmi, Rajpal Yadav, Mukesh Tiwari, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and others. The film is being produced by Firoz Nadiadwala and Jyoti Deshpande and is set to hit theatres on December 20, 2024.
