Welcome To The Jungle Song Deewane Hain Revives Bollywood’s Forgotten Celebration Anthem Vibe

Bollywood has not exactly been short on chart-ready songs in recent years, but the classic celebration track, the kind that lives at weddings, festive gatherings and neighbourhood speakers long after a film leaves theatres, has quietly slipped out of the mainstream. Welcome To The Jungle appears to be chasing that missing mood with Deewane Hain, a new song that leans into collective joy rather than fleeting trend-chasing.

Dropped on June 18 by Times Music, Deewane Hain arrives mounted on the giant scale of Ahmed Khan‘s ensemble comedy. The music video places the film’s sprawling cast in a colourful, high-spirited setup, with the emphasis less on slick spectacle and more on a shared, cheerful energy. That old-school instinct is at the heart of the track’s design.

Deewane Hain Leans Into Familiar Bollywood Warmth

Composer, lyricist and singer Anand Raj Anand said the idea was to make a song listeners could immediately own. “When I started working on Deewane Hain, I wasn’t thinking about trends. I wanted to create something that feels familiar the moment you hear it. This is the kind of song that people can sing together at celebrations, weddings or festivals. We have grown up with songs that brought people together, and I wanted to capture that emotion again,” he tells us.

That intent shows in the song’s musical build. Sung by Anand Raj Anand and Amruta Fadnavis, the track blends percussion-heavy arrangements with live instrumentation and a Kashmiri folk touch. The flute portions were performed by Naveen Kumar, while the live rhythms and percussion section was arranged by Dipesh Varma and performed by Dipesh Varma, Ratnadeep Jamsandekar, Shikhar Naad Qureshi and Vijay Jadhav. The recording also features an introductory child voice by Fiyoni Shah and backing vocals by Kavya-Kriti, Juhi M, Saket Bairoliya, Sunny Sharma, Ashutosh Sharma, Abhishek Mukherjee, Pallavi Roy and Tanya Mathur.

For Amruta Fadnavis, the song’s biggest strength is its uncomplicated emotional pull. “What I loved most about Deewane Hain is that it has a very happy, inclusive energy. It makes you want to smile, sing along and be part of the celebration. That’s something we don’t get to hear very often anymore,” she says.

Welcome To The Jungle Builds On Franchise Nostalgia

In the film, Deewane Hain plays closer to the climax, extending the broader nostalgia-driven pitch around Welcome To The Jungle. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the comedy stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jackie Shroff and a long list of comic and character actors. It is produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwallah, Rakesh Dang and Vedant Vikaas Baali, and presented by A.A. Nadiadwala, Cape of Good Films and Star Studio18 in association with Seeta Films and Rakesh Dang.

The film is an action adventure comedy from the Welcome franchise and is slated to release in cinemas worldwide on June 26, 2026. Its promotional material has heavily sold the return of a large-scale ensemble entertainer, and Deewane Hain fits neatly into that promise by aiming for something familiar, festive and instantly participatory.
