WHAT? Salman Khan Edits Out Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s Song From Dabangg 3
Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 has been hyping up the buzz since the launch of its seeti-maar trailer. The makers have started to release the audio songs of the film. This is an unusual route taken for a Salman Khan film because fans always await the video songs of the film.
Makers have decided to launch the audios first (similar to Prem Ratan Dhan Payo) because they have to create a desired impact for the songs. Naina Lade released today and as per the reports it was originally sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. But Salman decided to drop Rahat’s voice and bring in Javed Ali on the board.
According to a source close to an online portal, “Dabangg films’ songs have been hits and the Dabangg 3 album is no exception. One of the reasons why the ‘Naina’ songs of part 1 and 2 worked so well is because of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s melodious voice. Hence, Salman Khan got him on board for the romantic track of Dabangg 3 as well. The recording went well and everyone was happy with the outcome, including music director duo Sajid-Wajid. However, the tensions then increased between India and Pakistan. An unofficial decision was taken that the industry should stop working with singers from across the border. Since Rahat saab is a Pakistani, Salman and the entire team decided to drop his voice. And replace it with that of another singer.”
The movie is releasing on December 20th & will be directed to Prabhudheva. The south director is collaborating with Salman Khan for the 2nd time after Wanted. They both will also be doing Radhe which will release on Eid 2020.
