Helmed by Farhad Samji, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan stars Salman Khan, Venkatesh Daggubati, Jagapathi Babu and Pooja Hegde. Its screenplay is done by Sajid Nadiadwala with him as a producer only. The process of filming is Hyderabad, whereas its principal photography started in May last year.
Not less than a month is left for the film to be released, there are less to no talks about it among masses. The makers need to up the promotional activities unless they totall depend on Salman Khan’s fame, which would not be much successful as the whole teams needs a push when it comes to promotions.
Top reasons why it’s suffering from poor marketing:
1. Same ‘reel on songs’ marketing which did by ample disaster films in past – reel and Insta views don’t result in box office numbers
2. Not one but 3 songs released before trailer in two months long campaign
3. No innovate idea in marketing – same old digital influencer marketing with tweets from paid handles
It has to go for a unique route as Salman’s stardom not only will speak but make the moviegoers visit the theatres as he comes up with the theatrical release after a much gap. Marketing innovation from the the filmmakers has to be seen to boost film further.
It was earlier reported to be named Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and then Bhaijaan. The film’s official title was decided as Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan later in August, 2022. It was set to be released on December 30 but has been shifted to Eid on April 21, 2023.
Salman Khan Ropes In KKBKKJ Actress Pooja Hegde For Pavan Putra Instead Of Kareena Kapoor
Salman Khan fans are in for a treat as the sequel to the heartwarming movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is in the works. Titled ‘Pavan Putra,’ the film is expected to feature Pooja Hegde as the lead actress, replacing Kareena Kapoor Khan who played a pivotal role in the first film. Though there is no information on whether Pooja will be essaying the same character as Kareena or a new one, fans are excited to see her share screen space with Salman in the sequel.
Released in 2015, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ was a massive hit that touched the hearts of audiences across the country. Starring Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and child actress Harshali Malhotra, the film revolved around the unique bond between an Indian man and a Pakistani girl. The film’s plot was centered around a mute Pakistani girl named Munni, played by Harshali, who gets separated from her mother during a religious trip to India. Salman’s character, Bajrangi, helps Munni reunite with her mother in Pakistan, making it his life’s mission.
The sequel ‘Pavan Putra’ was announced last year, and fans were delighted to see their favorite star return to reprise his role as Bajrangi. However, there were no further updates on the project until now. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Pooja Hegde has been roped in to play the lead actress in the film. Interestingly, she is also the lead actress in Salman’s upcoming movie ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.’
