This is not a drill! Two of the biggest superstars from two different worlds have collided, and fans everywhere are freaking out. On October 18, South Korean actor Lee Jung Jae, the man the entire world knows from the blockbuster Netflix series Squid Game, shared an update that has the potential to break the internet.
He uploaded a new selfie, and sitting right next to him, smiling for the camera, was none other than Bollywood’s Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan. This is truly a meeting of our dreams, and it happened all the way in Saudi Arabia.
Two Legends, One Frame
Lee Jung Jae shared this unbelievable crossover photo with his 7.4 million followers on Instagram. While the photo itself is a simple, happy selfie, the amount of star power in that single frame is massive.
His caption was full of respect for King Khan. He wrote, “Honored to be with a respected icon Mr. @iamsrk”, and he even tagged SRK’s official Instagram account. Now, millions of fans are excitedly waiting to see if Shah Rukh Khan, who has 48.6 million followers, will follow him back or reshare this epic moment.
A Star-Studded Event In Riyadh
This iconic meeting wasn’t just a random hangout. It reportedly took place during a massive, special event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which was held on October 16 and 17. The event was packed with global superstars from film, sports, and the internet, all gathered for “meaningful as well as entertaining conversations.”
Lee Jung Jae and Shah Rukh Khan weren’t the only big names there. The only other Korean celebrities at the venue were actor Lee Byung Hun and director Yoon Je Kyoon. The international guest list was also insane, featuring names like YouTuber Mr. Beast, basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, streamer iShowSpeed, tennis icon Novak Djokovic, and Gary Vaynerchuk.
The Three Khans On Stage
For all the Indian fans, the event was extra special as it brought the three Khans of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, together on one stage. The three superstars showed amazing friendship and camaraderie, and even had a funny chat about working together.
SRK shared that, “It will be a dream if the three of us are together.” Salman, in his classic style, quickly joked, “Try and say that here that nobody can afford us three in a film together.” Shah Rukh Khan, playing along, added, “I don’t want to say it in Saudi, because everybody will get up and say, Habibi, Habibi, done, done, done,” which made the entire audience burst into laughter.
