Recently, we heard that Yami Gautam is working on a feature film alongside Pratik Gandhi, the digital superstar, which will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Aditya Dhar. According to reports, the film is a love story that will begin shooting at the end of this year.
“In 2016, Aditya Dhar was planning a film titled Raat Baaki with Katrina Kaif and Fawad Khan, however, that script was put on backburner following the growing political tension between India and Pakistan. Aditya has decided to revive that project with Yami and Pratik, as it’s a script close to his heart. However, he will just be producing it with Ronnie and the direction will be taken care off by someone else,” a source shared with Bollywood Hungama.
While it was originally planned for Aditya to also direct the movie, he is currently working on Ashwatthama, a big-budget superhero feature starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. He opted to just revive the plot of Raat Baaki with a new cast and a new director because the picture is difficult and planned to be produced on a large scale.
The film will now be given a new title, as the producers want to portray it as a novel subject that no one has heard of before. Soon, there will be an official announcement with the title, cast, and crew.
Meanwhile, Ashwatthama is set to begin filming at the end of August or the beginning of September, and the actor duo is currently preparing for their respective action-packed roles.
