Yami Gautam has slowly made a name for herself in Bollywood. Starting out with television, Yami quickly made her debut with Vicky Donor and has never looked back since then. She is now one of the finest and recognisable actresses in the industry. One of the most awaited films of her career is the upcoming OMG 2, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi.
According to media reports, Yami is playing the negative role of a lawyer in the film. She will be facing off against Pankaj Tripathi in the court. This is the first time in her career that Yami is playing a negative character. In Sarkar 3, her character had grey shades, but OMG 2 will hopefully give her the freedom to explore her dark side as an actress. Pankaj Tripathi’s character, on the other hand, is taking his own case in court. Pawan Malhotra plays a judge in the film.
OMG 2 Teaser Has Intrigued The Fans
The much-awaited teaser of the film was launched recently and it provides more questions than answers. We see glimpses of both Pankaj Tripathi and Akshay Kumar’s characters. But it reveals nothing in terms of plot. The fans will have to wait slightly longer for its trailer to release which will unveil everything.
About OMG 2
OMG 2 is written and directed by Amit Rai and stars Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam and Arun Govil. While the first film tackled the issue of fake godmen in India, the sequel will explore sex education in Indian schools. The film is slated to release theatrically on 11 August 2023. The film will clash with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 on the ticket window.
