As 2022 ends in a few days, there were numerous Hindi films released. Some had to face boycott calls, while others were successful due to their marketing and content. Indeed, social media played a huge role in impacting the performance at the box-office.

- The Kashmir Files
Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film stars Pallavi Joshi, Bhasha Sumbli, Darshan Kumar, Anupam Kher. The drama/historical film released in March is streaming on Zee5. It was reportedly made with a budget of Rs 15-20 cr and earned Rs 340.92 cr at the Box-office.
- Brahmastra (Only Hindi, including South, it is more than The Kashmir Files)
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra released on September 9 starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan. Moviegoers have applauded the film and performances, especially on VFX, Shah Rukh’s cameo appearance in a large dark room. It is streaming on Disney plus hotstar.
- Drishyam 2 (still running)
Helmed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 2 stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Rajat Kapoor. It is said to be a remake of the 2021 Malayalam film of the same name and sequel to Drishyam. The mystery film released on November 18, 2022.
- Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2
Directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Bhool Bhulaiyaa stars Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu. It released in May and earned Rs 184.2 cr in India at the box-office. It’s steaming on Netflix.
