In a major development, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has personally reached out to the family of actress Disha Patani after the terrifying firing incident at their Bareilly residence. The CM has given a strong assurance that the family’s security is a top priority and that the culprits will be brought to justice, no matter what.
This direct intervention from the Chief Minister brings a sense of relief to the family and fans who were shocked by the brazen attack a few days ago. The government’s full support is now behind the Patani family.
UP Chief Minister’s Powerful Assurance
Disha Patani’s father, Jagdish Patani, who is a retired deputy superintendent of police, shared the details in a video statement. He revealed that he received a personal call from the Chief Minister late at night. “I received a call from the Honorable Chief Minister. He offered his condolences to my entire family and said that the whole state stands with us,” Mr. Patani said.
He also shared the CM’s firm words about the investigation, which highlight the seriousness of the situation. “CM Yogi said the culprits would be tracked down even from the depths of the earth,” he stated, adding that the Chief Minister promised, “there will be no negligence whatsoever in ensuring our security.”
What Happened In Bareilly?
The incident that triggered this high-level response took place in the early hours of September 12. At around 3:30 am, two unidentified men on a motorcycle opened fire outside the Patani family’s home in Bareilly. While the attack was deeply unsettling, it was fortunate that no one was injured.
Shortly after the attack, a social media account under the name ‘Rohan Godara Goldy Brar’ claimed it was behind the firing. The post alleged that the attack was a response to an insult supposedly made by Disha’s sister, Khushboo Patani, against Hindu saints Premanand Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj.
Police Investigation In Full Swing
The local police are taking the matter very seriously. Security has been significantly increased around the Patani residence, and a full-scale investigation has been launched to track down the attackers. The authorities are currently working to verify the claims made in the social media post while actively searching for the two men who carried out the shooting. The CM’s personal involvement is expected to speed up the probe even further.
