Salman Khan made it very clear that he has no intentions to opt OTT. Now as promised the superstar is set to bring his much-awaited film to theatres. The superstar will be treating his fans on Eid 2021 with Radhe.
This is not just a piece of good news for his fans but a ray of faith and excitement for the exhibitors as it seems to help this film a big-time.
Now according to a recent report, Zee Studios offered a deal of 235 crores for the Eid release. It was earlier reported that Salman is trying to make his relationship strong with the studio and his Eid release is one of the steps towards it.
As per the information Zee has bought distribution, video-streaming and music rights under its deal. After releasing in theatre, Radhe will stream on Zee5 streaming platform.
Earlier, the film was supposed to be distributed by Yash Raj Films, however, the plan failed.
A source was quoted by a daily as saying, “Earlier, there was talk of Radhe being a hybrid release. However, it was finally decided that the cop caper will hit theatres across the country on Eid. Plans are afoot to make it one of the biggest Bollywood releases in the new normal. After the film has enjoyed its theatrical run, it will premiere on ZEE5”.
Radhe is directed by Prabhudeva and is scheduled for a release on 14th May 2021. It also features Randeep Hooda, Disha Patani and Jackie Shroff in pivotal roles.
