Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara boys to make a cameo in Alia, Katrina, Priyanka’s Jee Le Zaraa?

Farhan is considering including surprise cameos by the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD) lads - Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, and Abhay Deol - in the film.

Jee Le Zaraa (JLZ), directed by Farhan Akhtar, is an all-girl road trip film starring Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, and Priyanka Chopra. Jee Lee Zaraa is a slice-of-life story told from the perspectives of three women at various periods of their lives. The film, written by Farhan, Reema Kagti, and Zoya Akhtar, is set to be released in 2023 and will begin production early next year. While the casting coup has peaked fans’ excitement, a source adds that Farhan is considering including surprise cameos by the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD) lads – Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, and Abhay Deol – in the film.

An informed insider close to the project, Jee Le Zaraa, tells India Today, “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is a cultural classic, a film that went on to create a genre for itself. The lead actors – Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol – are friends and still very much in touch. There is a possibility that there will be some sort of a cameo or a crossover between ZNMD and Jee Le Zaraa. It will be interesting to see how their characters developed and where they are in life after their road trip adventures. Farhan is deliberating the idea of merging the characters from ZNMD into JLZ for a surprise cameo.”

The three ladies in Jee Le Zaraa have strong author-backed roles, and both Zoya and Reema are ensuring that the film pays up to the topic, which is not only women empowerment but also looking at life through the eyes of a female protagonist. According to sources, unlike ZNMD, Jee Le Zaraa would be shot primarily in North India, with the women travelling to various locations around the country.
