The Archies starring Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor has finally come to a wrap! For the unversed, the film is a Bollywood debut for these three young star kids of B’Town. Zoya Akhtar’s film is based on a popular international comic series. Ever since the announcement, netizens are excited to watch the starkinds in the upcoming movie which is expected to soon premiere on Netflix. Apart from the star kids, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda, Mihir Ahuja, and Dot will also be seen in the film.
Zoya Akhtar has updated the audience about the film wrap by dropping many pictures from the sets of the film on her Instagram handle. In the first image we can see a clapboard, while the second image is a group photo featuring the entire cast. A cake with The Archies clapboard is in the third pic and In the next picture, they can be seen cutting the adorable cake. In the last image, Suhana, Agastya and Khushi gave pose with Zoya, Yuvraj Menda, Mihir Ahuja, Dot and Vedang Raina. Meanwhile, The whole team wore blue and maroon T-shirts with The Archies printed on it.
The official Instagram handle of Netflix India also shared some wrap up pictures and captioned it, “Grab your milkshakes and say Archiesssss, because filming just wrapped and we can’t wait to see the gang on-screen!” Suhana and Khushi shared the post on their respective Instagram stories as they wrapped the movie on the 16th of this month. While Suhana captioned the post, “It’s a wrap (emotional emoji) (red heart emoji)”, Khushi wrote, “And it’s a wrap on The Archies (white heart emoji)”.
Directed by ace filmmaker Zoya Akhtar and produced by Tiger Baby Films, ‘The Archies’ tells a story about friendships, rebellion, first loves, heartbreaks, betrayal, and much more happening with young adults. The release date of movie is yet to announce.
