Vijay Sethupathi is all set to star in the biopic of Sri Lankan cricketer Muthiah Muralidaran. Titled ‘800 the film’, it will be directed by MS Sripathy and produced by Movie Train Motion Pictures and Dar Motion Pictures.
800 is said to signify the number of wickets taken by the spinner during his illustrious career. The makers unveiled the motion picture of the film today.
Earlier in an interview, Vijay Sethupathi said, “I don’t even watch cricket, I feel bored. So I don’t even watch cricket since my childhood. In fact I even told this to Muttiah Muralitharan sir and he immediately told that is the perfect quality for me to play the role.”
Vijay also revealed that a special trainer is also working on his physic.
