The top stars of the Tamil film industry reached to the designated polling stations across the state to cast their vote for the high stakes assembly elections.
The already high-voltage election spiced up with their presence. While many celebs visited the polling booth earlier in the morning to cast their vote, most of them chose no to use their celebrity status to jump the line.
Actor Suriya, his father Sivakumar and his younger brother Karthi stood in the line along with other electors, waited for their turn patiently to vote.
However, things didn’t go so smooth with Ajith Kumar. The actor had to lose his cool when a man in the crowd tried to get a selfie without Ajith’s permission, the star snapped at the man in question.
Moving on superstar Vijay surprised everyone when he arrived on a bicycle at the polling station.
Tamil film industry’s legends Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan also cast their votes amid much fanfare and media glare.
Kamal, who is the chief ministerial candidate of Makkal Needhi Maiam showed up with his two daughters, Shruti and Akshara to cast his vote.
