The teaser for Lucifer sequel L2 Empuraan was released recently, sending fans into overdrive. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film is the second part of a trilogy that began with the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer.
The two-minute-long teaser video was shared on the Aashirvad Cinemas’ YouTube channel on Monday and has quickly sparked major online buzz.

Mohanlal is back as Ab’raam Qureshi, the strong and mysterious leader of one of Asia’s deadliest mercenary groups.
The teaser introduces a gripping new setting with an abandoned town Qaraqosh in northern Iraq. We are also introduced to Steven Nedumpally, a character with a dark side that adds mystery to the plot.
The teaser shows Mohanlal in a thrilling, action-packed role, with big action scenes and intense visuals. The story explores themes like power, betrayal, and revenge, blending politics with the mercenary world. The larger-than-life sequences promise to keep the audience on the edge of their seats.

L2 Empuraan teaser launch event was held in Kochi & was a star-studded occasion with Mammootty as the chief guest. The event was attended by the cast, crew, and other big names, raising the excitement for the film.
About The Film
Produced by Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas Pvt. Ltd, L2 Empuraan boasts an amazing cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Indrajith Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Saniya Iyyappan, Sai Kumar, and Baiju Santosh, among others.
The screenplay is by Murali Gopy, with music composed by Deepak Dev and cinematography by Sujith Vaassudev. Suresh Balaje and George Pius are executive producers, and Mohandas takes care of the art direction.
This film marks the third collaboration between Prithviraj and Mohanlal, following their work in Lucifer and Bro Daddy. L2 Empuraan is set to release worldwide on March 27, 2025, in multiple languages like Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.
