Yesterday certain clips form Vijay’s upcoming film Master were circulated on the internet. The news came as a shock for the many filmmakers and celebrities including KGF director Prashanth Neel, Mari Selvaraj, Vignesh Shivan they also took to there social media and requested people to watch Master in theatres and not encourage piracy.
The film is set to release in theatres on January 13. Many members of the entertainment industry encouraged director Lokesh Kanagaraj asking him to stay strong in difficult times.
Raising voice against the piracy KGF director Prashanth Neel tweeted, “#MasterPongal we all will and should watch it only in theaters!!! #KillPiracy (sic).”
Mari Selvaraj wrote, “Please don’t share the pirated clips of the film, to share in stealth a passionate work that is to be celebrated in all its glory signals a deeply flawed mindset. Kindly refrain from indulging in deeds that slight the hard work and dreams of hundreds of people. #MASTER (sic).”
The filmmaker took to Twitter to share, “Dear all It’s been a 1.5 year long struggle to bring Master to u. All we have is hope that you’ll enjoy it in theatres. If u come across leaked clips from the movie, please don’t share it. Thank u all. Love u all. One more day and #Master is all yours (sic).”
