Pushpa 2 Sells 20K Tickets In USA, Opens Advance Bookings In 2 More Countries
Directed by Sukumar, the film has made headlines for its success in the US pre-sales. With over 20,000 tickets sold for its premiere, Pushpa 2 has become the fastest Indian film to reach this milestone.
The film’s US release is set for 4 December 2024, and the excitement is high as fans rush to buy tickets. Over half a million tickets have already been reserved worldwide, showing a huge demand.
To celebrate this achievement, the makers shared a poster on social media, writing, “Shatter Records 💥 Dominate the Box Office 😎 RULE like a KING 👑.”
After setting records in the US and UK, advance bookings for Pushpa 2 have now opened in Australia and New Zealand. The production team shared this on social media.
They wrote, “Pushpa Raj is all set to take over the Trans-Tasman region 💥💥💥 #Pushpa2TheRule advance sales now open in Australia and New Zealand ❤️🔥.”
Fans in India are eagerly awaiting their chance to buy tickets, and it’s expected that the excitement will only increase.
Sreeleela To Perform An Item Number In Allu Arjun Starrer
Actress Sreeleela will perform an item song in Pushpa 2. Known for her roles in Telugu and Kannada films, she was last seen in Guntur Kaaram with Mahesh Babu. There were initial reports about Shraddha Kapoor being part of the song. However, the leaked photos confirmed that Sreeleela will be performing the dance number instead.
In the leaked photo, Allu Arjun is seen in an orange outfit, while Sreeleela looks stunning in a black embroidered blouse and pleated skirt. The song was shot on a special set in Hyderabad, with music by Devi Sri Prasad.
This item song is expected to follow the success of Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s “Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava” from the first film.
Reports suggest that Shraddha Kapoor asked for Rs 5 crore for the item song and the deal didn’t happen, leading to Sreeleela stepping in.
