The most awaited Jagame Thanthiram teaser was released on Monday. The teaser of the movie depicted a dark, comedy about an Indian gangster, who gives Mafia bosses in America a run for their money. The movie is directed by Karthik Subaaraj. Apart from Dhanush, the film also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, James Cosmo, Joju George, Kalaiyarasan and others.
The teaser of the film opens with a very important question: “Who is this Surali guy?” The answer follows when we find out that he is a man who wears many hats. He appears to be the village darling who is also a pro at making field bombs. The guy is witty and seems to have a taste for violence and blood. The movie is all about what happens next when he goes overseas and becomes a nightmare for gangsters with guns, tuxedos.
The film was supposed to release last May. But, the outbreak of the coronavirus forced the filmmakers to postpone indefinitely.So now Jagame Thanthiram is slated to release directly on Netflix but the film’s OTT premiere date has yet to be announced.
