Kaamyaab is a story about Sudheer ( Sanjay Mishra) who is a character actor. The story shows us the reality, the fact that how easily we remember every Hero’s name from the movie and forget who the side actor in the film was. These are the actors who gets the role in a film but never gets the identity that they deserve. The story of Sudheer is one of such tales.
Radhika Anand and Hardik Mehta kept the writing of the movie as simple as the movie demands. With all the minute details of keeping the narration sensitive, never for a second, they cross any line to make it look like artificial. The script is full of struggles but the writers makes sure to cover everything by showing a silver lining around it. How little things like meeting his granddaughter makes Sudheer to recover his happiness in the most unjustified phase of his life is portrayed very beautifully.
Sanjay Mishra is astounding as Sudheer! He gets into the character, feels what he feel and portays all the emotions without accurate sensitivity. He gets Sudheer and the efforts are truly visible through his performance. Deepak Dobriyal delivers a subtle performance as casting manager. Avatar Gill plays himself in the film and shares some comical sequences. Viju Khote, Lilliput and a whole lot of actors share a special space in the film.
Hardik Mehta manages to create an aura from the initiative frame to keep you glued to your seats. He throws in emotions at regular intervals and that surely disturbs you. He keeps things as simple as a movie like Kaamyaab demands.
Music by Rachita Arora is the soul of the movie. Background score is superb & that usually is one of the most important aspects of a film like this.
Piyush Puty’s cinematography was routine & that’s why it’s impactful. There was nothing fancy required here & that’s been followed. Prashanth Ramchandran & Jayalaxmi’s editing is crisp.
Overall, go and watch Kaamyaab for an outstanding story that touches your heart and brilliant performance by Sanjay Mishra.
