Lala Kedarnath, who runs a chaat business that he inherited from his father, is the central character of the Raksha Bandhan movie’s plot. Of four sisters, he is the lone and oldest brother. He, therefore, has several responsibilities to fulfill. His mother was anxious about the sister’s marriage and relocation. Because of this, he promises her on her deathbed that he won’t get married before he completes the task of getting his sisters married in suitable houses. His relationship with Sapna, the love of his childhood, is then impacted by this pledge, and Sapna decides to support him after realizing the importance of his word. The movie then shows Lala’s attempts to carry out his duties and how his love manages to overcome all of these challenges.
The film emphasizes the brother’s challenges and sacrifices for his sisters, but it also demonstrates that he is not overcoming these challenges under duress, but rather out of pure love and concern for his sisters. Since caring for one’s family frequently causes misunderstandings in a relationship, it is very well expressed how his love encourages him during the journey, thanks to Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon’s outstanding writing. Anand L Rai manages to deliver a decent film after his couple of failures.
It’s time for joy in Bollywood since a movie that can stir up audiences’ emotions once more has finally arrived. Rakshabandhan, directed by Aanand L. Rai, stars Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar. The audience’s minds and hearts will undoubtedly be touched by the film’s powerful message for everyone and the sibling-sister-family dynamic. People with dowry hippodrome mindsets will undoubtedly click on this topic. This is a thoroughly entertaining drama, and Akshay and the rest of the cast have done the movie justice. Akshay seems on top form and plays his role to the perfection.
Both the sections before and after the intermission will keep the audience interested in the film as film fast and crisp.
Akshay Kumar perfectly inhabits the role of Lala and leaves a lasting impression on us. Although Bhumi Pednekar doesn’t have much to contribute, she is always a pleasure to watch. Sadia Khateeb, Sahejmeen Kaur, Smrithi Srikanth, and Deepika Khanna all did an outstanding job portraying the four sisters.
All the songs From Rakshabandhan are much loved and appreciated and have been composed by Himesh Reshammiya, specially Bidaai song and Tere Saath Hoon Main. The original background score of the movie has been composed by Ishaan Chhabra and it is decent.
Although there is nothing particularly unique about Akshay’s film RakshaBandhan, it is nonetheless a significant film that should be watched. A heartwarming family drama apt for festival!
