Ayushmann Khurrana is on all time high with one hit after another that too with films which are getting rave reviews too. He has mastered combination of box office and critical acclaim. In span of two months, he is back with another hit after ‘Dream Girl’.
‘Bala’ opened in 3000 screens in India and 550 screens overseas. This is biggest release ever for an Ayushmann Khurrana film. The film started little slower than last Ayushmann release ‘Dreamgirl’ primarily because of inferior music. Bala picked up from second show onwards itself and evening saw big jumps in metros especially.
Film collected 10.15 cr nett on day one which was highest opening for actor. Bala got little affected with Ayodhya verdict as theatres in north were shut. Still film jumped big 45% and collected 15.73 cr nett. Film has fantastic Sunday with 20% jump and collected 18.07 cr nett.
Bala has weekend total of 43.95 cr nett that is a fantastic total, 3rd highest weekend for Ayushmann after ‘Dreamgirl’ (44.57 cr nett) and ‘Badhaai Ho’ (45.70 cr nett). The movie faces litmus test on Monday and it passed it flying colors.
The film had 72.24 cr nett total after 1st week which is fantastic.
Film remained super strong on 2nd Friday and despite new releases film managed to collect 3.76 cr nett. The movie jumped again big 75% on Saturday and collected 6.73 cr nett. Film jumped on Sunday too and added 8.01 cr nett. Bala collected 2.25 cr nett on Monday which is not a bad hold but not great either. Film added 2.05 cr nett on Tuesday and 1.96 cr nett on Wednesday which is minimal drop followed by 1.80 cr nett on Thursday.
Bala has two week total of 98.80 cr nett. Film collected 1.35 cr nett on 3rd Friday. Film jumped again despite competition and collected 2.50 cr nett on Saturday. The movie
added 3.22 cr nett on Sunday. Film accumulated 7.07 cr nett in 3rd Weekend which is pretty good considering competition from new releases. Film added 1.05 cr nett on 3rd Monday, 1.15 cr nett on Tuesday, 91 lacs nett on Wednesday and 90 lacs on Thursday.
Bala has collected 11.08 cr nett in 3rd week . Film added 65 lacs nett on 4th Friday but again it jumped by 100% on Saturday and collected 1.35 cr nett. Film added 1.71 cr nett on Sunday. Film added 45 lacs nett on Monday, 43 lacs nett on Tuesday, 42 lacs nett on Wednesday and 39 lacs nett on Thursday.
Film collected 5.40 cr nett in 4th week. Film has total of 115.28 cr nett. Film will cross 117cr nett lifetime.
