Film collected subdued 1.80 cr nett on Sunday with 2nd weekend total of 4.30 cr nett. Film will struggle to cross 7.50-8 cr nett in 2nd week which is further drop of 70% from week one.
It might finish under 40 cr nett lifetime which is a shocker. This is worst ever year for Ranveer Singh after washout result of Jayeshbhai Jordaar and forts flop for Rohit Shetty in 10 years or so.
Film has weekend number of 20.15 cr nett and it’s heading for 30 cr nett week at best from here. It might finish under 50 cr nett lifetime which is a shocker.
Film dropped today slightly after poor number on day one and that means curtain for the film. Film has collected 6.25 cr nett on day two and thus two day total of 6.75 cr nett. It will cross 20 cr nett ke r weekend and now even 75 cr nett lifetime looks a task unless two big holidays give a desired push.
It should take advantage of the holiday period and manage to post a decent total even if it didn’t entertain as expected.
Our Box-offices estimates suggest the movie is expected to struggle on the opening day with 12.5 cr and weekend collection as 48 cr nett.

Cirkus will be released on the Christmas weekend on December 23, and apart from Ranveer Singh the movie will also star Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johnny Lever and actors in pivotal roles. Film has quirky comedy feel of Rohit Shetty brand of cinema.

This will impact Cirkus especially in metros and high end multiplexes as film will be second choice for this audience and it will heavily depend on masses to score. Seems like an interesting scenario for box office followers but rather scary one for team Cirkus.
