The makers of the upcoming war drama Pippa, starring Ishaan Khatter, Mrunal Thakur and Priyanshu Painyuli, have issued an apology after facing backlash for AR Rahman’s rendition of Karar Oi Louho Kopat, a Bengali protest song by late poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.
The film was supposed to be released on December 2, 2022.

The creators of the movie, Excel Entertainment, and Diamond Toons had previously worked together on the film “Fukrey Returns,” whose characters also appeared in an earlier “Chacha Chaudhary” comic. As a result of this collaboration, Diamond Toons will soon release a comic in which the characters will now be a part of the Chacha Chaudhary storyline as he embarks on a brand-new adventure with his sidekick Sabu.
