Ponniyin Selvan 2 has earned a total of 173 crores nett in India, which equals 204.14 crores gross. Another 121 croresgross are coming from overseas market. On the whole, the worldwide collection stands at 325.14 crores gross. At the current pace, the film might struggle to hit the 350 crore mark
Film added 4.25 cr nett on 2nd Monday which was good hold and it means that film will cross 175 cr nett lifetime domestic for sure and 350 cr gross worldwide.
The Tamil film Ponniyin Selvan 2 held up well on weekdays and they collected 260 Crores Worldwide gross in 1st week. Film has taken a good start on 2nd Friday and collected 5.25 cr nett. Film jumped big over 2nd weekend and collected 8.75 cr nett in 2nd Saturday followed by 10 cr nett on 2nd Sunday. Film has crossed 150 cr nett in 10 days and crossed 300 cr worldwide gross today.
PS 2 added 12 cr nett all India on day 5 and thus crossed 100 cr nett. It will find tough to beat P.S. 1 all India numbers.
The Tamil film Ponniyin Selvan 2 held up well on Monday due to it being a holiday in most of the southern states for labour day including the main market of Tamil Nadu where the collections were pretty much similar to the first day.
P.S. 2, the second part of the two-part historical saga Ponniyin Selvan, has been released in more than 3200 screens worldwide. The movie has reportedly made a pre-sales collection of Rs 11 crore worldwide.
