Ponniyin Selvan 2 (PS 2) has collected 27 cr in India on its opening day, which is a decent start for the film but less than the first day business of PS 1, which collected 37.25 cr on day one. PS 2 has collected Rs 16 cr in Tamil Nadu. Kerala is around 2.75 cr of gross and Karnataka collected an opening of 3.25 cr and AP-TG around Rs 2.75 crore with North India adding 2.50 cr.
