Ajay Devgn Starrer Thank God released in 2200 screens and as expected grew in spot bookings today in mass centres. Film was affected by poor marketing and low buzz but film was helped by hit songs and good release date.
The film’s last scenes, especially towards the end, contain over dramatic work being imposed, which could have been with Dhamaal and some enjoyment throughout the comedy rather than that
Thank God will depend heavily upon spot bookings and walk ins especially in mass centres but urban centres will be very tough for the film as Ram Setu is leading by big margin.
As tomorrow is generally walk ins and spot bookings are huge and that’s why clear picture will emerge after first show tomorrow when reviews will be out and walk in trends will be clearer. However, it is close to certain that both movies will take a double-digit start, as per our early estimates, Ram Setu will take a start of close to 14-15 cr nett while Thank God will open with 10 cr nett plus at the box office.
It displays the beautiful connection between the two legends in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj & his courageous commander Baji Prabhu Deshpande.
The distributors have begun a campaign to entice viewers for their films, even though the details of Ram Setu and Thank God’s advance ticket sales have not yet been made public.
The running time of the movie is 121.34 MM.SS.
Recently, the film’s songs “Dil De Diya” and “Manike” were released, including “Haaniya Ve” showcasing beautiful romantic song between Sidharth and Rakul Preet.
It will become interesting to see how word-of-mouth encourages others after its advances while creating a strong face-off between two.
Amitabh, Anupam, Parineeti starrer ‘Uunchai’s trailer will be shown during the screening of Ram Setu in cinemas across the country.
This song was part of another hit film of director Indra Kumar Masti. Song is out now
It is set to be released on October 25 coinciding with Diwali
