120 Bahadur Box Office Collection Day 1: Farhan Akhtar Starrer War Drama Opens Poorly At Box Office Despite Glowing Reviews

Farhan Akhtar returned to the big screen after a gap of six years, following his 2019 film The Sky is Pink, which also starred Priyanka Chopra. 120 Bahadur was one of the much-anticipated films of the year, which hit the screens on November 21. Based on the Battle of Rezang La in 1962, the war drama had a dull start at the box office. It missed the Rs 2.50 mark by a small margin.

120 Bahadur Fails To Connect With Masses

Film opened to poor numbers all over. Film’s preview shows were held from Tuesday but it failed to generate any kind of buzz. Film got glowing reviews but it didn’t translate into numbers. Film collected poor 2.25 crore number on day one and now it needs massive jump over the weekend for any kind of respectability at box office.

Additionally, competition from other releases during the same week may have affected audience turnout. While the film’s patriotic theme is strong, it may take time for word-of-mouth to draw in wider crowds.
