‘Pathaan’ starring Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has received a huge blockbuster success. The spy action thriller outperformed Hollywood tentpoles at the box office, earning a staggering $125 million (1025 crores) globally in 33 days.
In 2023, ‘Pathaan’ is currently the eighth -highest-grossing movie globally, making it one of the few times an Indian film has cracked the top 10. The film outperformed all predictions and ended up becoming the highest-grossing production for the whole main cast, director Siddharth, and production company Yash Raj Films.
Chinese flicks ‘Full River Red’ movie and ‘The Wandering Earth 2’, which also happen to be the only movies so far in 2023 to reach $600 million at the box office, have taken the top two slots among the highest-grossing movies this year.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan Inches Closer To Baahubali 2 Record
Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan’ continued its dream run over 5th weekend with continuous increase in shows and jump in collections as new release continue to fizzle out at box office.
Film again jumped today by 15-18% on 5th Sunday which is unbelievable trending. Film collected 2.25-2.30 cr nett taking its 5th weekend total to 5.25 cr nett plus. Film stands at the doorstep of last record which is left for the film to achieve- 510.99 cr nett of ‘Bahubali 2’ in Hindi. This number will be surpassed over 6th weekend probably on 6th Saturday if not on Friday.
Film has 33 day total of 507.30 cr nett Hindi, 525 cr nett plus All India and 1021 cr worldwide gross. With no competition next week and more shows from tomorrow, film is poised for excellent run even in 6th week which is unheard of in multiplex era in post pandemic.
