Ajay Devgn‘s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha has had a rough start at the box office. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the romantic drama opened to disappointing numbers and didn’t see much improvement in its first week.
The film has grossed about Rs 10.35 crore in eight days, which is underwhelming.
Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha Drops Big On Day 8 Amid Disastrous Run
On its opening day, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha earned just Rs 1.85 crore, the lowest for an Ajay Devgn film in ten years. The situation didn’t improve much over the week.
Saturday saw a slight increase to Rs 2.15 crore, up 16.22% from Friday. Sunday brought a bit more hope with Rs 2.75 crore, a 27.91% rise from Saturday. But the good news didn’t last.
By Monday, earnings plummeted to Rs 1 crore, a 63.64% drop from Sunday. The decline continued with Rs 0.95 crore on Tuesday, Rs 0.75 crore on Wednesday and Rs 0.60 crore on Thursday. The film’s total for the week ended at Rs 10.05 crore.
Entering its second week on Friday, the film saw another big drop, earning just Rs 0.30 crore on day eight, despite a special Rs 99 cinema lovers’ offer. It is expected to finish its second week around Rs 12 crore before new releases take over.

Directed by Neeraj Pandey, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha is a romantic drama that spans 23 years, from 2000 to 2023. Ajay Devgn plays Krishna, while Tabu stars as Vasudha, marking their tenth collaboration.
