Within just two weeks of its release, Bad Newz has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark globally. As of now, its worldwide gross stands at Rs 102.77 crores, while it has earned Rs 70.21 crores in India alone.
This milestone makes Bad Newz the eighth Bollywood film of 2024 to hit the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide. It joins the ranks of other successful films this year like Fighter, Shaitaan, Crew, Article 370, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and Kalki 2898 AD.
Bad Newz India Collections So Far
Bad Newz has enjoyed a strong box-office performance in India since its release. On its opening day, July 19, 2024, the film earned Rs 8.62 crore. The following day, it saw a rise to Rs 10.55 crore, marking a 22.39% increase. By the end of the third day, July 21, earnings grew further to Rs 11.45 crore, up by 8.53%.
Although there was a dip on the fourth day, July 22, with earnings falling to Rs 3.75 crore, the film experienced a recovery on July 23, bringing in Rs 3.80 crore. The film saw further increases on July 27 and 28, with collections of Rs 3.52 crore and Rs 4.02 crore, respectively. Despite some fluctuations in the last few days, with earnings dropping to Rs 1.15 crore on August 1, Bad Newz has proven its appeal.
