Ajay Devgn always springs surprise when it comes to clash with another fancy film, be it ‘Son Of Sardar’ or ‘Shivaay’ and now ‘Tanhaji’. Film not only beaten ‘Chappak’ hands down but also posted huge day one followed by good growth.
Film started slowly on day one morning with 25% occupancy but it did grow well riding on glowing reviews throughout the day. Film was super strong in Maharashtra, CP and it seems other circuits will come around today.
Film was released in 3200 screens and it posted huge 15.10 cr nett on day one. Film jumped big on day two by 30% and posted 20.57 cr nett. Film has 2- day total of 35.67 cr nett. With Weekend growth on the cards, film will have Weekend in range of 58 cr nett.
Looks like a winner on the cards!
