Deepika Padukone has tried a solo women centric film for first time and Meghna Gulzar is coming after stupendous critical plus commercial success of ‘Talvar’ and ‘Raazi’.
Film was released in 1600 odd screens all India and its opening was way below par with occupancy around 15%. Film didn’t grow throughout the day and remained flat. Film also lost significant business in major territories due to clash.
Film collected 4.77 cr nett on day one and that was way below par. Film struggles on day two and only managed with slim growth with figure of 6.90 cr nett. Film has 2-day total of 11.67 cr nett.
Now weekend growth is all which is important and it should be big jumps otherwise it doesn’t hold much chance at box office.
