Diwali weekend was expected for all new releases as small films struggled and bigger one performed fabulously.
‘Saand Ki Aankh’ started very low with 48 lacs but did witness some growth in Saturday with 1.08 cr nett number. The movie witnessed festive drop and collected 91 lacs on Sunday. The movie collected 2.47 cr nett over weekend which was way below par considering reviews and holiday period.
Saand Ki Aankh took advantage of holiday on Monday and collected 3.19 cr nett. Film added 2.85 cr nett , 1.63 cr nett, 1.64 cr nett on following three days. The movie has 1st week total of 11.68 cr nett.
Now 2nd weekend will be crucial for the film as it needs to cross 30 cr nett lifetime in order to come out as a plus film which looks tough at the moment.
